I was coordinating the preparation of a major report for the United Nations
Research Institute for Social Development (UNRISD) on gender equality in
2003/2004 when I got to know Terez. I had asked Terez to prepare one of
the background papers for this publication on the theme of gender equality
in the Hungarian labour market. I was most impressed by Terez -- not only
did she always have wonderful insights into issues (and obviously very deep
knowledge of the Hungarian situation), but she was also so positively
responsive to comments and suggestions, and always asking the difficult
questions. We developed a wonderful rapport, and what impressed me most
was her warmth and kindness. She will be warmly remembered by all of us.
