Backronym vs. acronym[edit]
Not sure why this is being called a backronym... It seems like a simple acronym for the phrase "Keep it simple stupid." There are variations of the phrase, such as "Keep it short and simple," but that would not change its origin as an acronym. If there had been a separate reason to use the word, "kiss," and then a phrase had been chosen to fit that word, then "KISS" would be a backronym, but that is not the case here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dbzillion (talk • contribs) 08:10, 14 January 2019 (UTC)
