Welcome to WikiProject Linguistics. We are a group of editors collaborating to improve linguistics articles on Wikipedia. We cover a broad range of subjects within the general field of linguistics, including theoretical linguistics, applied linguistics, etymology, and phonetics. You will find a number of resources on this page to help you with improving Wikipedia's coverage of linguistics; take your time and have a look around.   • verbal case – got an outline, but need examples of verbal morphology claimed to be 'case'

  • Embodied bilingual language is a genuine WP:Orphan that is in Queue 2 at WP:DYK. It needs some links to it. 7&6=thirteen (☎) 20:43, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
  • Opposite (semantics) was tagged in April 2008, though no reason was specified. Content has developed quite a lot since that time, but the article remains somewhat inconsistent in its treatment of meaning, entailment, etc. Also, there is a list of sources but few footnotes or parenthetical references. Requests for review[edit]

  • Traditional grammar has been completely rewritten. The article is focused on pedagogical grammar traditions, with a history of the tradition, and allusion to a couple of the critiques that linguists tend to make of such systems. Currently rated start class, mid importance, but review is warranted.
  • Conceptual definition This article seems to confuse theories, conceptual definitions, and the colloquial idea that a "theoretical" idea is not based in facts. I am not a linguist and I do not know if a "theoretical definition" is a term in linguistics, but as a scientist a single article on "conceptual definitions" seems more useful.
  • Macro-Tungusic discusses a proposed language family including Korean, Japanese, Manchurian, and Tungusic languages, but it is unclear from the citations provided whether this is a controversial or uncontroversial theory. signed, Rosguill talk 23:16, 11 October 2018 (UTC)
  • I have re-written Arc Pair Grammar, but I'm a student editor through WikiEdu, and I'd like someone with background in the subject and more experience on Wikipedia to check it over JeanLackE (talk) 18:08, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
